ABOUT US

Marches Pétanque League was founded in 1992. It has thrived and expanded and now has over twenty teams playing from fourteen venues across the Marches.

Matches are played, in the summer, on Wednesday evenings and through the winter on Sundays. Club competitions are held through the summer too.

RECENT NOTICES

Winter League

With the Winter League just around the corner, we have set up the fixtures for this years Marches Winter League starting on SUNDAY 12th OCTOBER, we have started a little early this year with such a great interest and having 14 teams enter. GOOD LUCK to all teams involved.

Marches Petanque AGM

This Years AGM will be held at The New Strand on Tuesday 21st October at 7.30pm. Everyone welcome with the trophy presentation to follow this meeting.

Marches Summer League

This Years Summer League has come to an end with Wilton Bridge PC winning Division 2 and being premoted to Division 1 and it all coming down to the second to last game in Division 1 but for the first time in 6 years Strand & Deliver have won the Marches Summer League. Thank You to all teams involved.

SLKO Cup Main & Plate

The SLKO cup final has been played with Strand & Deliver becoming victorious against Stars on 45, and the Plate was has also been played with WHPC Shooters beating WHPC Tigers to win the Plate. thank you to everyone who entered this years SLKO Cup.

Wyestitch Cup

The Wyestitch has been a great success again this year, Brecon Bouligans ( Brecon Four Must Get Beer) were victorious against Billy On The Rhino to win this year Wyestitch Trophy and the Winning t-shirts to be presented at The AGM. In The Plate Seven Stars Rebels beat Sunrise to win the plate. and yet again thank you all for a very successful summer.

The Summer League Triples, Pairs & Singles table is up on the Summer League documents page please go and have a look, This years winner of the Marches Cup is Melanie Williams!!! Congratulations !!
